The Gold Rating is somewhat difficult and works in a similar way to the 'Test' trophies in the previous game's DLC, but not quite as hard or time sensitive. In terms of trophies they are relatively straight forward, with the exception of the Gold Rating. The main differences playing as Baranor is that you have no ring of power, therefore you cannot recruit captions and are mortal, if you die you need to start a new run, all of your collectible and story progress will carry over, but you can easily work around this by utilising USB/PS+ Cloud saves or just closing the application if you are about to die. It works very similarly to the main, the combat is the same but Baranor has some unique abilities such as the grappling hook, a shield and a gauntlet crossbow. You take the role of Baranor as you fight your way through the new dessert region called 'Lithlad', recruiting mercenaries along the way.
